About Me

In a nutshell - I am a web and graphic designer with a different perspective. In a 'former life' I was in the marketing and advertising field, creating and managing marketing campaigns for large sales forces. I sometimes found it frustrating to be on the business side of things. I knew that I had to get my message across! But I sometimes had to work with graphic designers who didn't understand the message, they just wanted to make the pieces look pretty.

So, when I got the chance to quit the business world for awhile and go back to design school, I jumped at the chance. Now my clients get the best of both worlds -- a designer who understands business. And I get to communicate my clients' messages across in asthetically appealing ways.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a site design is turned over to a client, unless I am the site manager, there may be changes made by the client which affect the look and feel of the site. Of course this is how it should be - the web is dynamic and constantly evolving - but the site may not necessarily look or function the same as it did when I initially released it. When viewing a portfolio remember web designers create for the client, based on the criteria/requests made by the individual or business. Designers have preferences regarding the designs, but these preferences are often set aside to meet the asthetic desires of the client.
